Went Vox. If ZD doesn’t really want Gawker and Jez, it stands to reason they won’t value the whole package as highly.

They don’t but they did show interest in the past... Also with the help of investment funds they could, considering that Gawker is actually a fairly profitable company, it would be a possibility. They would probably be the ones to cut the most heads in the staff to reduce costs though... (because no money)

But they could also split those properties off and sell them later. Which is my worry with something like NY Mag, because they have no use for a car blog.

Vox could be good for Jalopnik and Kotaku since they don’t have a car site, but it wouldn’t look good for Gizmodo or Deadspin, since The Verge and SBNation offer similar content.
